We have to assume that if they are a success, the other manufacturers will follow in developing their own race-bred ABS. It is already happening with traction control, and after all, is ABS not traction control for braking the same way conventional TC handles acceleration?
We also have to assume that if it fails, we won't see it attempted again (even if it can work) for several years due to the bad publicity! That's just how it is with flagship racebikes.
