After taking the AMA Superbike races at VIR by storm, tests on the crankshaft of Mat Mladin's Rockstar Makita Suzuki have led to AMA officials disqualifying Mladin from both races due to the crank not meeting AMA rule specification.
The clone bikes of Ben Spies and Tommy Hayden reportedly did not have the same tests performed, thus disqualification for the entire Rockstar Makita Suzuki team from the VIR event ranges from questionable to unlikely from what we can tell.
