Mladin wins race one!
Tough day for Ben Spies, who had trouble with his bike at the start and came back up to speed only to receive a stop-go penalty for rolling out of his grid position. Spies then fought from 12th to a podium finish, despite his misfortune.
Jamie Hacking crossed the line in 13th place after an earlier spill.
